At 16:26 on July 23, unit No.2 of Sihui CCHP Plant, China's first AE94.3A gas-steam combined cycle unit imported from Ansaldo, Italy, has successfully passed 168-hour full-load test run, marking the commercial operation of the project that is located in Sihui Hi-Tech Industrial Park in Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province. 

The CCHP Plant, with total installed capacity of 800MW, is developed by Sihui Thermal Power Co., Ltd, affiliated to CPI (China Power International). Each set of AE94.3A combined cycle unit consists of one gas turbine, one steam turbine, one heat recovery boiler and BOP equipment.

Yongfu Power provided wide range of solutions in design of technique process, control system, electrical system and civil works for the BOP in the gas turbine island. The design team made arduous efforts to complete the design service within 4 years by getting over tremendous technical difficulties. The experience has laid solid foundation for design of similar systems of subsequent gas turbine projects.
